    Storage of personal data

    We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and adhere to the Data Protection Act (Federal Data Protection Act BDSG and General Data Protection Regulation GDPR).     Server log files

    The provider of the pages, SeminarPool GmbH/platzhirsche.net, automatically collects and stores information in server log files which your browser automatically transmits to us. This information is the browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, date and time of the server request and the IP address. 

    This data is not merged with other data sources. The data is stored for the purpose of operation, security and optimisation of the web server and deleted after 20 days.

    Use of Matomo (formerly: Piwik)

    This website uses Matomo (formerly: Piwik), an open-source software for statistical analysis of visitor access. Matomo is used without cookies and your IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before it is stored. This data is not merged with other data sources. The data will also be deleted after one year at the latest. 

    Matomo does not store any personal or personally identifiable information.

    Use of cookies

    The Internet pages may use cookies in several places. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer.     Use of Google YouTube

    Our website may use plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland is the site operator. A connection to the YouTube servers is established when you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.     Newsletter

    We may also offer you the opportunity to subscribe to a newsletter through our website. Subscribing to the newsletter uses the double opt-in process. This means that as soon as you have registered with an e-mail address, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to this address. The registration is only completed once the confirmation link in the e-mail has been clicked. Otherwise the registration will expire and the data will be deleted.  After confirmation, your e-mail address will be stored for the purpose of sending you the newsletter.
