Server log files

The provider of the pages, SeminarPool GmbH/platzhirsche.net, automatically collects and stores information in server log files which your browser automatically transmits to us. This information is the browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, date and time of the server request and the IP address. 

This data is not merged with other data sources. The data is stored for the purpose of operation, security and optimisation of the web server and deleted after 20 days.

Use of Matomo (formerly: Piwik)

This website uses Matomo (formerly: Piwik), an open-source software for statistical analysis of visitor access. Matomo is used without cookies and your IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before it is stored. This data is not merged with other data sources. The data will also be deleted after one year at the latest. 

Matomo does not store any personal or personally identifiable information.

Use of cookies

Our website may use Google Maps to display maps and provide directions. Google Maps is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. By visiting the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. This happens irrespective of whether you have a Google account and are logged in through it. In the event that you are logged in via a Google account while using the website, the data will be assigned directly to your account. Use of Google YouTube

Our website may use plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland is the site operator. A connection to the YouTube servers is established when you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your Google/YouTube account, you enable Google/YouTube to assign your visit to our website directly to your account. Newsletter

We may also offer you the opportunity to subscribe to a newsletter through our website. Subscribing to the newsletter uses the double opt-in process.
